Methodology
Definició
The methodology is the approach the model uses to create the teaching and learning process, within which the activities take place. These activities are structured in a way that will lead the student to attain the competences defined. The model used to consider the situations that must be resolved, the strategies that students must apply when dealing with the process (problem-solving, carrying out a project, etc.) and the criteria for implementing them.
This section must provide information on what the student will need to do in order to learn. The centrepiece of any training methodology is planned activities, and these may be of various types depending on the degree of prominence of the role played by the student and the teacher.
The choice of methodologies to be used is essential for achieving high quality learning outcomes for a large number of students. The methodology chosen must be varied, consistent with the learning objectives and assessment methods, appropriate to the context of the subject and appropriate to the assumptions and guidelines in the syllabus and the teaching unit responsible for it.
